Gaurang started his career at a Textile Manufacturing Business where he posted Journal Entries, performed Bank Reconciliations, prepared budgeted and actual financial statements. He assisted the company raise financing at preferential rates to assist with working capital and manage their cash to maximize the shareholder's value. He realized that bookkeeping is not only about record keeping but strategically providing information to management to make informed decisions to grow their business.
Gaurang has helped numerous businesses and individuals with tax compliance, tax planning and resolving IRS issues. He has also helped entrepreneurs across multiple industries select legal structures for their venture that would limit their liability and be most tax advantageos to them.
Gaurang has worked at a Big 4 and a Middle Market public accounting firm within their Forensic Accounting and litigation Department where he assisted with conducting a number of High Profile Accounting Fraud Investigations relating to Earnings Management of large publicly listed companies and smaller medium sized companies. He has experience in asset misappropriation cases where he has worked on cases where he uncovered over $1 million of assets that was diverted away by an accounting clerk. He has also assisted on divorce cases where he has traced over $10 million of assets and conducted an asset search to assist a spouse determine the assets that the Husband had.
Gaurang has assisted high net worth individuals analyze financial statements of companies they are looking at investing in and have identified red flags to assist the investor in determining whether it would be a good investment. He has worked at a top Investment Consultancy firm advising investors on operational risks associated with various types of investment managers. He has reviewed the operational controls of the investment managers and identified control weaknesses. |

Gaurang has completed his Undergraduate degree from The London School of Economics where he graduated with Honors in Accounting and Finance. He also has a Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. At both the London School of Economics and the University of Notre Dame he has achieved a Distinction in Financial Statement Analysis. The owner Gaurang Patel is a Licensed CPA in the state of Illinois, Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist

| Gaurang is involved in a number of organizations, the Illinois CPA Society, Link Community, AICPA, Chicago Cares where he tutors 10 year old children after work and the LSE and Notre Dame Alumni club in Chicago. He sits on multiple non for profit boards. |
